Vital Blessing .. stops Energy Regen?
I am a Lvl 14 W/Mo playing around with my skills today after I made a stop at the Ice Cave. Mainly because I was in a small group and managed to agrro about 7 Minotaurs and killed them solo using Symbol of Wrath, Shielding Hands and Heal Sig. So I decided I was going to play around with more smiting skills and protect skills. So I had picked up Vital Blessing and decided to test it out. Enchantment, while maintained adds +72 MAXIMUM health. I also equipped Strength of Honor to add +5 to melee. I cast VB, then cast SoH, and noticed my energy stopped regen'ing at 3. Just stopped, not paused like Retribution where it just slows your regen. It just plain stopped. I stood there, am still actually, waiting for it to restart and it hasn't. Ok. De-buffed, cast Soh first, then VB. It regen'd 1 point, then stopped again. Hmmm. De-buff, cast VB by itself and my energy regen continues, until I cast SoH again. Then it stops after it takes away for SoH. What is going on here? Do these two skills not work together at all?

in your skills menu youll see that right next to the energy cost of those VB and SoH, theres a "-1" symbol
that means that as long as you have that enchantment on you, you lose 1 arrow of energy regeneration, so if you have 1 enchantment on, you have 1 arrow of regen and if you have both, you have no regeneration and you can only lose energy

OH! So since base energy regen is +2, by using VB and SoH together I am getting -2 regen, therefore cancelling it out. I see now. So I would need an offhand item that gives a higher regen rate than what I am losing. Gotcha. Damn I really wanted to see how well those 2 worked out together.
Thanks,

There are no items that increase energy regen.* There are wands and focus items that decrease energy regen in exchange for an increase to max energy, and weapon mods that decrease energy regen in exchange for granting energy on each hit, but that's all.
* Cue smartassed comment from someone about the energy regen on armor pieces for certain classes...

*Ceasing smartassed comment.(Just had to do it )
In all honesty, as a warrior you don't want to use 2 enchantments. I would recommend taking SoH as your maintained and dropping Vital Blessing altogether. Spec into Smiting, your weapon's line, and Strength.

Actually, you can run 2 enchantments quite effectively if you carry the newly revised Warrior's Endurance elite. Definitely not good for PvP, but decent for PvE.
